I Value My Privacy

I grew up knowing NOTHING about privacy. my family and relatives and I have all always lived in the same building and they're all so extremely nosy, like they would just randomly barge into my room and raid it completely, they didn't trust me at all. and its still this way

so like whenever i get a little bit of privacy and solitude i cherish it as much as i can 😂

My mother was one of ten kids and she once told me it was not an unusual thing for someone to come in and use the toilet while you were showering ! The person in the shower knew to step back from the water during flushing---and the [b]other[/b] person would [i]light a match[/i], if necessary. When she married my father, who had grown up with his own room, they had to renegotiate what privacy meant to each. 😃
