I've been denied the opportunity to work for a company based off my gender...

As a female in mechanics, I'm wondering if I should make shit easy for myself to have better opportunities by switching careers. That job would have helped substantially even though to them it was entry-level. I mean, now it's a matter of survival and there's no way to keep going on in this male-dominated field if I can't afford living expenses and just get denied repeatedly for career opportunities...based on my gender and not my skills.

Same thing with economics. Extremely discriminatory fields. You have to work harder than most of your peers to continually prove your worth. Continue working hard is all I can say. It can be discouraging but one person has to believe in making the change by looking past gender and give us the opportunities we deserve as much as our colleagues ,if not more .
