Thoughts in the night

I sit here thinking of going to bed and look out the window into the darkness. Nothing but reflections of the room can be seen in the dark night. Yet, I see you in the light that bounces back to my eyes.

I close my eyes and just look at you. I see sparkling eyes gazing back at me with such a beautiful color. Your smile fills my vision with brilliance that makes me long for you.

I smile as I see your hair cascade over your shoulders and then watch as you twist it with your hand when you seen me staring at you with adoration in my eyes. You are so very beautiful to me and you take my breath away for a moment as I simply look at you.

Then I open my eyes and instead of you I see the darkness outside the window. But the knowledge that you desire to see me lets me see you once again as I close my eyes.
