I Love Being In My Bare Feet

Another long train journey today for me. Finally its shorts and sandals weather. I'm in first class as usual. Sandals are off and feet are bare. Air conditioning is nice and cool and it feels good to be barefoot. Beautiful weather and lovely scenery help things even more.

Just to update. It was a very warm day yesterday and lots of men had shorts on. I didn't see another man in sandals, they all had trainers on and silly little white ankle socks. These were young men not old men.
What is it with the British? Why are they so inhibited?
I rarely see men in sandals and when they do have them in they wear ludicrous white socks.
I wear high quality hiking sandals that protect the feet and let them breathe. Socks are totally unnecessary.

@anoderod55 The british are so self conscious, esp the men. Ill never understand this thing they have for silly white socks and trainers/sandals
