@Mbingh01 If the election isn't certified, the House will not allow Harris to be seated, which automatically creates a vacancy (same as if an elected Congressman dies), so by law they will have to hold a special election to fill the seat. I don't know if it's automatically Harris vs. McCready, or if they start from scratch and hold a new primary.
