I Like Politics

It looks like my newly-elected congressman, Mark Harris (NC-9) might have cheated, and the election is being investigated for fraud. It's possible that he might not be allowed to take his seat, causing a new election to be held.

Personally I would be delighted as he is a horrible person, who supported the "bathroom bill" that would have made it a crime for trans people to use the correct public restroom.

@Lila15 I forget whether it was in the primary or the general election, but weren't 96% of the absentee ballots in some areas cast for Harris? That's highly suspicious no matter who the candidate is.

I hope the election board calls for a fair election to be held, under tight controls. We may have to have international help to monitor the election, like we do in foreign countries, to ensure a fair vote.

Trans people have been using the restroom corresponding to their gender forever, with no one noticing. As a female, I wouldn't be comfortable if someone who looked like Chaz Bono was in the stall next to me, but I'd have no problem with Caitlin Jenner. So it's a stupid law that hurts women, just because Harris' religion says trans is a "sin," so he wants to hurt trans people as much as possible. So I'm supposed to be uncomfortable and trans women could get killed, just to make him happy.

And if he cheated to win the election, he belongs in prison, not Congress.

@Bluesky52 I'd rather not get into it, but I have some personal bathroom issues and don't want to deal with anything that makes me even more uncomfortable.
