You know you are a world famous Prime Minister when, like Canada's PM Trudeau, you go to visit India and are met at the airport by the casually dressed junior agricultural minister of India because the Indian PM was too busy washing his hair.

Or it could because Trudeau's government, includes four Sikh ministers, who support a more independent Sikh existence in India, and that makes it appear as if Trudeau supports it as well?

Not an easy trip for Trudeau to make, but he nevertheless did it, as a consideration to Canada's current demographics.

@room101 No I simply have no idea who you are talking about. Every leader in the world has accused his/her opponents of treason at some point in their career. Many world leaders did not serve in their country's military.

Which brings me back to the topic at hand. Canada's PM Trudeau who is such a piece of fluff other nations' PMs won't dignify his visit with an official greeting.

@room101 I am going out on a limb here and guessing that you are an American and you are referring to American presidents. Clinton avoided the draft and Trump had a medical condition so equal opportunity there. Obama thought that Trump was conspiring with the Russians which is tantamount to calling treason.

However the topic of discussion was the Canadian PM who is a diplomatic flyweight in a super heavyweight grudge match. Our former PM Harper was highly regarded in the international community and his advise was widely sought. This PM is ignored leaving him to tour with his family at Canadian taxpayers expense. He is going to more religious shrines then international meetings while in India. I don't know why I doubt that he has the intellect to understand any of the religions he is pandering to.

@Pherick No it is supposed to be a business trip. The taxpayers of Canada are footing the bill. He took his wife and kids along but he is supposed to meet with India's PM for bilateral discussions. Of course since he didn't show up for the international trade meeting in Vietnam despite being there at the time hasn't helped his international reputation.
