@66greyshorts Kudos on you 66greyshorts .You arre probably a teen who did'nt like being put in short trousers up to 16 year old or older and came to be pleased with wearing them as an adult.If you browse throgh my posts you will see that such was also my case.. More than seventy years ago. I was reluctantly still kept in very tiny short trousers in my late teens but some years later,as a college student, I was delighted to put back my denim and corduroy short shorts as the weather allowed it And as an adult, I went on to wear them as a default spring and summer dress. I woud be interested in giving you more details about this adventure of short trousers in my life.

If this refers to the person who posted the title story then I think you are being unnecessarily charitable to those who at that time would complain about being unwilling parents. Condoms have been easily available for considerably longer than he has been alive and the pill was available on the NHS from 1961.

@ninalanyon A good point, but I am not sure in which country his family lived at the time so contraception might have been much harder to obtain.

@ArishMell I was raised in Saskatchewan Canada in a french-speaking and catholic family and I suppose that my parents never used the anticonceptional pill which dididn't exist at that time, I learned that the only method authorized by the Church to birth contol was the Ogino-Knauss method known as the thermometer method.
