Baby update... [I Am Pregnant]
Hello friends & and those following my pregnancy, it is time for an update. This is long overdue as I have just been posting quick updates here and there over the course of this pregnancy and felt like it was time to give ya'll a proper update :)
Tomorrow is the last day of my 2nd trimester, which means the last trimester is right around the corner. We are down to 13 weeks, and I for one can not wait to meet our little man.
As most know this pregnancy has not been easy, granted my other two pregnancies were not a walk in the park either, but this for sure has been the hardest by far...
My problems started before the first positive pregnancy test. This baby was a complete surprise, we were done having babies as my pregnancy with Isabella was rough, 8 weeks in the hospital, bedrest, anemia, and a 23 days NICU stay. Luckily Isabella had no major issues and is thriving so well. She is already running around all over the place and is starting to talk. We are so proud of our little princess and can not believe that she is going to be two years old.
This pregnancy has been rough, from the very beginning, severe morning sickness that is barley controlled with mediciation...to severe weight loss that has my doctors concerned, but the baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead which is good for now...to severe anemia that resulted in a 3 visit at the infusion center for iron to resolve the issue with my anemia..to finding out that I have a blood clotting disorder and having to inject blood thinners into my stomach everyday...to pricking my fingers 4x a day for 12 weeks to ensure that I do not have diabetes...to finally testing my blood pressure everyday to try and keep my blood pressure under control....12 different prescriptions...a picc line for nausea meds..fluids..calories...to emergency surgery...to finally extreme bedrest that started yesterday...
A doctors appointment almost every single week for the past 20 weeks, doing our best to avoid a hospital stay. We eagerly await to meet our little prince and are hoping and praying every single day that we make it to full term that he does not have to stay in the NICU like his brother and sister. To weekly ultrasounds with a high risk doctor to get images... Our little prince had a few concerns earlier in the pregnancy that may not be as severe as MFM had thought and for that we keep praying and hoping that they are right.
We have 13 weeks to go until my due date which is now 9/11/2020. I want more than anything to have a remining healthy pregnancy and will keep going to the doctors every single week, and take whatever medication that they suggest to ensure that our last baby is as healthy as possibly and mommy is safe as well.
We will keep everyone updated as we near the end of this last chapter of our lives. We love all of you and are extremely grateful for everyone that has kept us in your thoughts and prayers and good wishes.
