I'm just relaxing in my hotel room and being messy about it. I used to be obsessed about putting everything in it's place but soon came to my own conclusion that it was all to appease the irrational notion within me that an orderly and aesthetic room would mean I was keeping my life in an orderly and controlled manner. Life isn't orderly at all it's continuous randomness and at times disruptive caos, but even caos has an order to it. Ask mathematicians !
I'm confident enough in myself to be messy.
I'm contemplative at the moment. Tomorrow and the day after my bachelor students graduate. Three years of up hill struggles are coming to a conclusion. I'm always sort of sad in these moments.
It's as if children I never had are leaving my home.
Others will come and others will go such is life a continuous flow of LIFE ....
I sent them all a good luck note wishing them well for their future and I told them all I was priviliged to have been a part of their accademical experience. I learn more from students than they ever could from me.
