I Appreciate Honesty
I can’t stand being lied to and I think there is no good excuse to lie to someone unless it saves your life or someone elses. Thats it.

Do you need to hear the truth, even if it's about something you can't do anything about, except stress, or if it's something that's nothing to do with you, but people just have to give you the dirty details because they just need to tell someone? I tell those people to get lost, or get a life.

I feel like not telling someone something is different than lying unless that person specifically asks, or the other person has told them something that isn’t true despite that person asking. For example, if someone tells you for 10 years they were popular in high school and got all the girls and were on the football team then 10 years later they confess that none of that is the truth and they were actually bullied and had no friends thats a lie. But if they never told me they were popular and all that wouldn’t be a lie just because they didn’t tell me they were bullied unless I asked and they said no. If somebody asks a question they want to know the truth and it sucks that sometimes you can’t do anything about it or it’ll leave someone feeling stressed and i also get that people want to protect loved ones, but lying just breaks trust and its unacceptable in my opinion.
