Oh .. don't take this place too seriously or what people say to heart.. it's a place which allows people to say their opinion freely.. or to hate on one another.. you don't like someone.. block them.. some people are keyboard warriors all they want to do is make other people feel miserable cos they're feeling shitty themselves.
@19StarPrincess part of life darling, you sometimes see someone to be a certain way until they show their true colours, just wakes you up, it's shocking now yes I understand but don't leave the whole place because of this, you never know who you might meet here.

@19StarPrincess theres a lot of bad in this place like what someone pointed out in another post a lot of people here seem arrogant and narcissistic. kind of societies worst or people who dont fit in.. theres several who are just out to ruffle feathers.
Yours is the only post I've replied to for a while, because it really resonated with me. For the same reasons you mentioned. Lately I mostly come on here to talk to my friends and I mostly ignore the posts. Which isn't how this site is supposed to work, but like you, I'm not into combat either. I also just don't like reading hateful posts regardless of whether I agree with them or not.
I watched the interaction on that post .... please remember that some people on here prefer to respond in a persistently negative and snarky way ... it's their problem, not yours .... more a reflection on them, not you. Keep the faith.
It's easier for people to be mean on the internet. They don't really know you so just brush it off and move on.

People show their alter egos on here while others are their true selves. The ones who say mean things are actualy lacking self esteem, they get high being mean which makes them feel better about themselves. Don't let those few immature brats ruin your fun. Ignore and enjoy the nice people on here.☺

Sorry you got your feelings hurt...unfortunately, there are a lot of brutal people on here (as well as the internet in general) that don't know how to be anything but easily-angered or supercilious.
A lot of them, I think, have shitty personal lives and use websites like this as an outlet for discharging their negative energy. Their negative energy has to go somewhere, as far as they're concerned, so their perspective is: "Why not pass it onto others?"
Like, say the slightest thing that doesn't agree with them and automatically you're a moving target.
It's fucked up, really. But thankfully most of these people are easy to spot by the way they reply to others on their own posts. If I don't like the way they speak to others, I distance myself from them (sometimes block them to avoid any possible interaction).
That's how I've learned to deal with it, after ten years of talking to other people online. I hope you find my advice to be of value to you.
@19StarPrincess I see. Well, a couple of other things you can do is report their comments for inappropriate behavior or you can stick up for yourself and tell those people you don't care what they think of you. That's another way that I roll.

Go with what Starz93 said, don't let the losers get to you. They are miserable and just want to spread the misery. Life is too short for that crap. Just move on, and leave it behind you.
I'm sorry this happened to you. There are ass holes on this site. I understand when you say I'm not tough enough. Just hang in there. There are a lot of good people here.
