I Love Photography

I love good photography, especially of nature. However I don't understand why people have to use different filters, editing, and enhancements. Nature is beautiful by itself. It doesn't need to be enhanced with brighter colors, definition, etc. <3

@RodneyTrotter That's kind of what I'm talking about. It's fine to brighten up a dark area, or sharpen something that is a little blurry. I'm talking about all the filters people use. The sky does not need to look electric blue, and what not. That to me just looks like nature on steroids, which is anything but [i]nature.[/i]

Editing is just as much of an art as photography. Nowadays you're not going to get very far as a photographer without knowing how to edit your photos.

@Cstmc I'm not a photographer. lol I don't recall saying that. I was posting my opinion as a consumer to photography. I'd rather see raw, natural images. Not a photo on steroids.

A consumer as in a customer, or just someone that looks at photos? I get that it is your opinion, but in my experience, people don't pay for an out of camera shot. They pay for "the steroids"
