If you haven't already, have a listen to the album by Jennifer Warnes, "Famous Blue Raincoat," with songs by Leonard Cohen, also known as, "Jenny Sings Lenny." Every track is excellent. "Joan of Arc" is my favorite.

I am not as familiar with him as I could be, but I absolutely love Suzanne. I have heard it sung by various people, male and female, at coffee houses or at parties, and I am riveted every time.

Special, special guy. Rarely does the music transcends the lyrics, and the lyrics transcend the music.
