I have moments where I miss the hell outta you. Recently, it seems like every day since finding out you're back with your ex. Being with you brought me joy and excitement. It's not to say I can't still attain those feelings alone, but it was just sweeter with you.

I want to be bitter and resent you for not giving us a chance, but I'm better than that. I've accepted that the timing would never be right so long as you haven't found closure with her. Maybe she is the one for you. Maybe you will be a better man to her the second go round.
