I Am a Dreamer and a Thinker

Which are more important , rights or responsibilities ?
Daintybeast · 51-55, M
@Mikemcneil it's even more worrying that you don't understand common english without requiring a definition , I guess you feel that your rights are more important than your responsibilities , in common parlance - 'what am I entitled to as opposed to what I can contribute'
Daintybeast · 51-55, M
@Mikemcneil responsibilities by dint of what they are also protect the vulnerable in society
I'm done with this now

You don't know what you're talking about....
Daintybeast · 51-55, M
@Mikemcneil go away .......
Daintybeast · 51-55, M
@Mikemcneil your responsibilities are cultural and moral issues and your rights are legally enforceable issues. Everyone has equal rights and they can be defined across society and responsibilities on the other hand are not as easy to define or legislate for
Mikemcneil · 61-69, M
@Daintybeast I'm still not getting your point. Sorry. Name some of your important cultural and moral responsibilities?
Daintybeast · 51-55, M
@Mikemcneil they are hard to define, your responsibilities are to yourself and others collectivel and your rights are legally enforceable. Hard to define the difference
Mikemcneil · 61-69, M
@Daintybeast not everyone has legally enforceable rights or access to justice though. There are health and safety rights at work but if your employer ignores them and kills his employees they're not much use....
Mikemcneil · 61-69, M
Equal rights for all
Mikemcneil · 61-69, M
Be more specific please.
Daintybeast · 51-55, M
@Mikemcneil I think you understand the difference very well without me scratching about trying to explain to you what seems to be a common general understanding
Mikemcneil · 61-69, M
It's worrying that you aren't able to offer a definition or even a simple example though....
