I Keep Too Many Things to Myself

[c=#BF6900]When I say, someone who has died, it's not the physical death, but death of the old self. In the same way that there is birth as the beginning of the a new life.[/c]

I sense in him a sincere longing to move beyond "a troubled guest on the dark earth."

We both are at the crossroads in our lives. Crossroads, where the unconscious crosses consciousness, where the eternal crosses the transitory, where the higher will demands the surrender of egos.

Deeply hurt by life itself, we both are CHANGED by our experiences, by our pasts. What had "died" in us have "grown" through loss.

We both are discovering a new path, with a new kind of power and courage, and I believe we both have come away with an awakened sense of empathy, and a softer heart. Both of us want to use our past experiences to tame the rough edges of our egos, to learn to love again, to become whole again.

We have sworn our hearts not only to each other, but also to our faith in our commitment to spiritual growth; his, mine, ours.

[c=#BF6900]For someone, sent by fate, to blast open, to awaken the dead parts of my being, I share the "holy longing." It makes me feel as if I have finally come home, that I am safe at home with him.
