Yeah I was the same, different world back then, you couldn't play football or rugby or cricket even if you wanted too ( and I definitely didn't want to play cricket )
Couldn't join the scouts you had to join the girl guides and learn sowing etc. I just wanted to be outside climbing trees and camping.
