I Have Survived a Hurricane

Well we survived hurricane after evacuating and spending the time in a shelter while she passed. When we got back we are thankful that there was some damage but not as much as we had feared. We gathered round and my daddy said a prayer of Thanksgiving that we had been spared. My sleep patterns now all over the place. School out as they assess damage. Anyway my mom found a new expression last night when she said, "One more word from you young lady and your butt will experience a hurricane from my hand!" So things are getting back to normal! 😄
