I Smack Bare Legs

When I was a teacher, smacked legs was a very quick and convenient way to punish a child for a minor misdemeanour. The advantage is of course that it can be given on the spot and almost instantly if a girl is wearing a skirt or dress or a boy is wearing shorts.

At my Primary school the teachers would smack us across the backs of our bare knees by hand or with a wooden ruler, I got smacked many times, sometimes on both legs which really hurt.

@StrictSarah not really, I was bottom of the class so low test results resulted in a “see me” a telling off and smacked legs then time facing the naughty corner.

@JakeS children shouldn’t be smacked simply for bad marks unless they are not trying hard

@isabelrider That was the case in my school too, don't recall very many lessons passing by without someone having their legs smacked, especially in primary school.

i was caned at school several times but when i was in first year at secondary i wore short trousers and a couple of teachers smacked my bare legs during class
