When you get your new prescription, get a printout of it. Here in Australia you can buy cheap prescription glasses at pharmacies if you know your prescription. Well, you can choose the right ones. I got a printout and now I can get a $12 pair of glasses in a heartbeat.

@MarkCaesar yeah, I know I can get glasses at other places instead of the optometrist's office, but my glasses have thick lenses and stuff so they would still be expensive because of my eye conditions. But my mom said that the new optometrist has much cheaper glasses that can be covered by my insurance

@Fishing65 Yeah, but I think it's tougher now because this is the second time going through the process. And I don't want to go back since this optometrist doesn't seem to be the best fit for my vision problems. I'm more than just nearsighted.

@hunkalove No, I didn't receive any drops at these recent appointments. Why shouldn't I allow that though? Aren't the drops just meant to dilate my eyes?

They just want your money. Did they put drops in your eyes? Don't allow that!

If they give you drops and then do the tests you get the wrong results.

The muscles in your eyes are constantly moving, even when you are asleep. Eyedrops paralyze the muscles, and that is what you are stuck with, maybe right, maybe wrong. It's convenient for the optometrist, not for you. Just say no!
