It is to be hoped. I had great parents. Kind, loving, patient with us kids and each other. Lots of laughter and shared time in our family. I am a loving family oriented woman who would shrivel up and die if I lost them. My sister, who was brought up in the same home by the same parents, is hateful to everyone, including her own children and people she calls friends. There is no set rule.
