I Believe Family Is Very Important
Being a Stay at Home Mom, my kids are literally my life. My days revolve around their needs and schedules. I have a 16 month old Son, and a 2 week old Son, so they aren't in school yet, which means I spend all day every day with them, and I love it.
It can be exhausting, getting up all night to feed my youngest and then waking up early to make his brother breakfast, but being able to spend this time watching them grow and hit milestones, is a blessing. I can't imagine someone else watching them, teaching them, while I work.
My Husband is a very involved and active Father. When he's not deployed or training, he comes home every night, to have dinner at the table as a family. After dinner, he plays with our oldest and cuddles with our youngest.
For us, it is important that our boys grow up knowing that we are always there for them, that we weren't absent parents, and that we gave them our all.
Our generation is filled with broken families, absent parents, Mother's who use their kids as pawns against their Baby Daddies, and emotionally detached Fathers. Children deserve better, and that's why I work so hard to make sure mine all the love and support that my Husband and I can give.
