I Hate Internet Dating Scammers

So started talking to another girl online and just with the way things were going I thought OMG great this girl actually seems like she really wants to get to know me more and actually start something..... we’ll probably not now cuz now all of a f...ing sudden she asks me to get her an iTunes gift card!!!!!!!!! I can’t stand this shit anymore why is it so goddamn hard to just meet legitimate people online??

I know a lot of people are going to be like well that’s you get for trusting and believing in people too much or whatever. But I have a firm belief that there are legitimate people online to get to know and start something with.

@Threepio like this girl I felt was different usually someone would have asked me ages ago to send them money or whatever. But then out of the blue that’s what happened anyway. I felt like we were really getting to know each other and talk about other things but then she pulls this stunt.

I read accounts such as yours ALL THE TIME on the Asian expat boards I am a member of. Seems the fairer sex views us as living & breathing ATM machines more often than not.

@Threepio yeah and there’s been a couple times where I did consider sending them some just to see what comes of it but then if they keep asking for more then I know it’s a scam or all they want is money.
