People are most likely familiar with the 1963 version of this song performed by the Beatles.

Some may even know the version from 1962 performed by The Isley Brothers.

The original, though, was done by The Top Notes in 1961. It was called Shake It Up Baby.

Literally just listening to this song the other day.
Beatles version.
I wonder when the law/rule started that you had to wait 20 yes I think,before copying someone else's song..

@iamnikki From what I saw, music copyright laws existed in the early 1900s. As long as the group has permission, it’s okay. Likewise if the original producer worked on the cover version.
