I Love the Ocean

I walk alone
Under heavens eye;

Where the earth turns to water;
Not far from the place where water turns to sky

I listen to the ocean sing to me.
It’s soft hush to my fears silenced them
That loving mother of me;

Such is the water you see;
My home;
My heart;
My all I am to be;
I come to her when the warrior needs his serenity;


She washes away the steps in time I make;
It is her way of showing me,
The steps of the past are washed,
With every step forward in time I make

The gentle spray of the crashing wave is her gentle kiss
Brought by the breath of ocean breeze;

I miss my home;
I miss my ocean;
