I Care About The Environment

Do you ever see someone casually littering and just want to go up and shove their litter up their inconsiderate ass?

Great Idea! But while you are at it you should go after all the snowflakes wearing synthetic clothes and shoes made from petroleum in sweat shops like NIKE, Under Armor and other companies do. Also go after all the farmers and Ag companies poisoning us and all the animals and oceans with GMO plants that kill bugs or weeds that the bugs need as without bugs the birds and amphibians die. How about especially those growing corn for ethanol as they use GMO seed, spray herbicides and pesticides made from petroleum, use fertilizers made from petroleum, install millions of miles of tile made from petroleum, use all kinds of fuel to haul, plant and harvest the corn for ethanol, then take it to ethanol plants where they burn hundreds of thousands cubic feet of natural gas from fracking per day and then use millions of gallons of water to make the ethanol. Then the snowflakes and other liberals think they are saving the planet by using ethanol and believe the farmer commercials on TV that say they are feeding the world when 80% of the grain produced goes to bio fuel production and cattle feed. Those wonderful cattle get shot up with antibiotics and steroids that we eat and goes into our water when the poop and pee run-off goes into lakes, streams and ground water.

I do not get people that go after the little shit like the liberals do and yet they have no idea what is really worth going after.

@leppakerttu It has to start somewhere and if each of us does nothing things will continue to be the same. Don't be a typical snowflake liberal.

@acpguy why does everything have to come back to calling people snowflakes? Can I ask what you do?

@leppakerttu Semi Retired own a consultant service. Previous jobs were working in a hospital for 10 years department manager fro 4 departments, worked as safety and environmental person for 16 years for a major pipeline prior to starting my own business.

People who worked hard for a living and have a lot of experience call younger and sometimes older people snowflakes because they 1. have not worked very hard during their lives 2. have no true experience in life or did not learn from what they have had 3. they did not receive a very good education because since the 1990's education systems have been taken over and run by liberals who have overlooked teaching worthwhile subjects and have pursued teaching children fake history that is not accurate and leaves major things out, do not teach math (without computers / smartphones) and have a grading system that rewards students even if they do not have accurate work / formulas and show their work and pass students even though they do not deserve to move onto a higher grade 3. parents do not parent very well anymore nor spend worthwhile time with children but instead use electronic babysitters (video games smart phones, computers) and do not take them hunting, fishing or outdoor activities that require some sort of exercise 4. kids get rewarded for coming in 2nd place to last place, they do not learn that winning is winning, 2nd place or lower is not. 5. most kids today do not work through grade school / high school in oeder to buy their own clothes, cars and pay for their own college. Instead they make excuses they cannot find jobs yet there are plenty of lawns that need mowed, leaves to rake, snow to shovel, cars to wash and wax or errands to run for elderly. Young people today are a lot of sorry ass whimps thanks to parents and education systems.

Yup... I hate to see littering. Pollution in general actually. We are advanced enough so that we don't really need to be making so much excess packaging.

Take milk bottles for example. For years they were made of glass, which is actually pretty easy to recycle. Then everyone changed to plastic or wax coated cardboard, which is really difficult to recycle in comparison... Sheer madness and greed really.

I think we shall see glass and ceramics make a big comeback in the next 10 years though.

@leppakerttu That's awful, yet not surprising. Litter is a worldwide problem, especially plastics pollution in our waterways. As an example, the Citarum River in Indonesia is often called the world's most polluted river. Check out this news story from last month:

I want to do it all the time, not only for littering but also people walking their dogs & walk away when they take their dumps on the pavement etc.
leppakerttu · 22-25, F
@covfefe234 I hate when people take dumps on the pavement too 😂
covfefe234 · 31-35, M
@leppakerttu oh..right xD Maybe they should be treated same as stray dogs?
diablo · 46-50, M
Is littering a bad problem in the Emerald Isle? It is in many parts of America.
leppakerttu · 22-25, F
@diablo it is in some areas - usually the rougher areas.
