Can I read my text book from my kindle app on my ipad on my chromebook?

That was a mouthfull of a question. But, I am at work and freaking out right now. So, this is my dilemma. I started online school today. I work full time, so I haven't started my classes yet. But, I bought all of my books today. One of my books I bought as an ebook on amazon. I had to download the kindle app on my ipad to read the book, as I dont have a kindle. When I downloaded the app it asked me what device did I want the book to be transported too. I chose my ipad because it was the only device I had around at the moment ( I work at a library). So, I downloaded the kindle app on my ipad, and chose to have it transported there. I wanted to know if I can access the book on my chromebook if I download the kindle app on there as well, or will I only have access to the book on my ipad? I am primarily using my chromebook for school, so I would like to have the book on my laptop to be honest. I should have bought the book in the google bookstore.

You can read it as a web page on your Chromebook by opening it through your Amazon account when you do a search on the your contents and devices page for that book.
