@NativeOregonian I have worked 34 years in social work and psychology !
Dignity in humanity is what i do
But it p*$$£$ me off no end when kids grow up being spoonfed horsesh*t and historical inaccuracy and nobody ever questions either it or the consequences of it since !

@Picklebobble2 It pisses me off too that today's kids will never know true history as it actually unfolded in the past. Only those of us that know how to research into original sources know how things really went down.

I love this opening scene for the show, I binged it when I had a free trial for HBO Now streaming, and what he says is truth.

This is propaganda you're buying into.
Because while he pretends that he's saying something critical of America, the entire point leads up to that he actually thinks it is the greatest country. And since this is completely scripted, it's clear propaganda.

@Milkshake That's a question of taste, personally I find it taste..less. It's meant to make Americans feel something, completely fabricated and specific to their nation. It gives me an yuckie uckie feeling.
How negative that could turn out to be, is very hard to tell.
Just imagine if Russia had things like this about their own country in all of their movies, you can then imagine the feeling I feel when I see you watching this self-stroking shiz.

@MartinTheFirst i dont know any russian movies... you know why ? cause they suck.
but propaganda is everywhere else too... just take a look at france and russia with their military parades that even seem to impress the orange man in a way that he wants one. china is indoctrinating their people all the time.

@Milkshake lol they do suck, have you seen the funny compilations of them on youtube?
Absolutely. Propaganda is by no means uncommon, but it always leaves a bit of a bad aftertaste.
