If you have an active warrant in one county do you specifically have to serve time in that county or can it be done in a different county

Usually if you're picked up in another county, the county you have the warrant from will come and pick you up, eventually. Until then you sit in the county you were picked up in.

@Guitarist07 no, you'll be held in the county jail unless the county you have the warrant from grants you bail. The county you have the warrant from will be contacted and will set up with the jail you're being held a pick up.
