If they’re reaching out, remember that they’re family, and [b]they[/b] didn’t abandon you. But whether or not you want to explore that side of your family is up to you.

I didn’t see your suicide message. I’m not a counselor, and I would’ve referred you to the crisis hotline (1-800-273-8255). Unfortunately, lots of people talk about committing suicide here.
Strangers can certainly sympathize, but there’s only so much we can realistically do online.
