What are your best sources for obtaining essential knowledge?

Podcasts, TED talks, Big Think, books, blogs, etc. Please share if you will, some seriously mind blowing stuff that's had an impact on your life. The thirst for knowledge is real and I need to get it on so that the lifehacking can commence and I can continue to purge the BS. :)

I would recommend this site as a good place to check out. It involves information like essays, articles, videos etc from well educated and open minded people for the sake of Humanitarianism and enlightenment in a way.

Conkers Bad Fur Day~ "Context Sensitive"
Persona 3~ "Expect nothing, and you'll receive everything"

Pretty much all videogame dialogue and music lyrics...

I agree dude, it gives you the opportunity to live another lifestyle, experience a vast range of emotions which develops empathy, and a lot of games can introduce us to unknown concepts and ideas which can dramatically alter your outlook on life just like any serious good form of media, however video games are no doubt the most enjoyable form to experience (especially when you can coop through an epic journey with a buddy). The Dark Souls trilogy and its epic lore comes to mind. The developer's philosophical and anthropological views are fucking amazing and incredibly fun to explore <3

I personally hate dark souls... But that's just me.. I hear yah though... A lot of people miss out on the experience of a journey to walk in someone else's shoes when they avoid gaming. Sure a movie or show will show you the perspective of a story. But a game actually forces you to struggle through the experience... When something bad happens to the character if done properly it will more likely than not make you upset as well. As you're essentially in their shoes. Same can be said with the good times the character has. The bliss of stress free zones within the game where relaxing takes more of a priority than the constant discourse that usually takes place along the way...

Spot on sir! :D
My best sources of knowledge came from living and experience, from questioning everything, to having the courage to get connected to that deeper part within me, to keep examining life and coming to extraordinary discoveries.

That's fantastic, I'm trying to follow a similar path :)
