Did you get corporal punishment at school?

I remember when it happened much more often than now!

I never did but I saw a girl get the paddle in sixth grade

I onlyhad the cane once in school and that was enough

We got the strap.on the hands only.

I received the cane on 3 separate occasions

I was ay school in the early 60s and received both the cane and slipper ( a size 11 rubber-soled plimsoll) on several occasions and it really did hurt and left marks on my backside for days afterwards.

Only once and it was a mistake by the teacher and he apologized later when he learned what had happened.

By two teachers. They were limited to three swats with a paddle and since I rarely wore jeans my butt felt mist of the sting!

I was spanked on two occasions by my Kindergarten teacher.
