is our planet getting bigger?

coz like you know how when things die there bodies go into the earth? well wouldnt that mean the planet is getting bigger and bigger?

No. There is conservation of mass and energy. So the only was to change the mass of the Earth is to bring in objects from outside the atmosphere or remove objects from the planet beyond Earth's orbit.

So as things die and get buried, they eventually get recycled. Remember, any organic material is made from things that already exist on the planet.

@HoraceGreenley And as objects fall to the planet from outside Earth's orbit, i.e., meteorites, the Earth gains mass.

@Lackwittyname Once in a while I will surprise you. I have a degree in Biology, so I am educated in Chemistry and Physics too. So I actually know the answer to this question because it comes up in Physics when discussing Conservation of Mass and Energy.
