I Believe In God and That Jesus Is the Son of God

BILLY GRAHAM
One of the persons I respected most in my life passed away earlier today. I had listened to his sermons many times over the years, because he was a no nonsense country preacher that God reached many people through. He counseled preachers, presidents, criminals, and many entertainers in his 99 years on earth, becoming a voice for the Word of God. Altjough he became well known throughout the world, he never forgot his humble beginnings. May you rest in glory Reverend Billy Graham. I am certain there is a huge celebration and reunion happening in heaven right now as those of us are both happy for your homecoming and sad that we will no longer have you here on earth offer our prayers and condolences to those left behind to mourn your transition.

I grew up listening and watching Rev Graham and attended one of his stadium crusades. Part of the reason I came to the Lord. He was well-respected even by those of no faith or a different one. Of course, he was also human and dealt with issues that we all face. I visited Montreat, NC, several years ago (but not his house) and can understand why he and Ruth chose such a peaceful place to live.

Thank you for taking the time to write a beautiful tribute to Reverend Billy Graham!!😊

I was sadden to hear of his recent passing...he was a very humble man of God who loved the Lord and spent his whole life preaching the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

There was great rejoicing in heaven when Billy Graham went home to be with the Lord...well done thy good and faithful servant!!😇

He was a wonderful man and I respected him greatly even though I'm not very religious. One of the many things that impressed me about him is that he took a stand against racial segregation as a young preacher and refused to hold revivals and crusades at venues that didn't allow integrated seating.
Oh no, I hadn't heard about it yet! Not all his doctrines were Biblical but he did have the truth of salvation with him. It'll be wonderful to see him in paradise.

I’m not religious, but he seemed to walk the walk better than most.

@Cowboybob You know he never traveled along or allowed himself to be in a room along with a female? Simply because it could ruin his testimony as a married man. I thought that was interesting. He loves his family and God. Thanks for your comment.
