I Write

In a black room
Pillars of ivory white
Line the misty tomb
Beyond the realm of day and night.

A blue door glows in this mist
Perhaps I prefer this darkness
As through the blue,
I'm unsure what exists.

It's luminescent azure glow
Soothing, but not summoning;
Like freshly fallen snow.
I can hear a faint humming,

A vibratory tone
Of slightly high pitch.
It feels somewhat like my home
It makes my brain itch.

The centre of my mind
Slowly melts in pleasure;
Do I dare venture toward the blue
Or stay in the dark forever?

Hovering in the dark moon sky,
Always questioning and wondering why time seems to so easily fly right by,

Clinging to past days of yesteryear,
Cemented within worry and fear,

Unable to fly toward the early morning light of dawn,
Regretting the day one was born,

The deafening silence of indifference fills the air,
Too much to bare but always aware, locked into the cement like despair.....
