Is this normal ? [I Marriage]

I like to hold my wife's hand during sex she gets a little nervous I try to make her feel safe so she knows I won't hurt her. I also talk to her tell her how beautiful she is it kind of makes her cry a little. Is this normal ?

This reads as if she is not used to such compliments, and her feeling this way leads to thinking that she may not feel that way about herself too. Just make sure your not one of those guys that praise during sex and is a jerk otherwise.
