I Love to Dance

I've done Native American round dancing for much of my life but it's not uncommon in my area for individual members of my tribe who partake in round dancing to borrow from other dancing styles and incorporating it into their round dance. It may not be traditional but it gives it a more modern and expressive take. The round dancing style I learned borrows from belly dancing, only with less emphasis on hip movement and more on the legs and feet. I've been looking more into real belly dancing lately and I've been wanting to get more into it. It looks fun and even though I do enjoy round dancing, I think I could try something different for once. Plus, I feel like I already know a little bit about belly dancing already!
