I Love to Dance

I'm tribal Native American and I've been round dancing for my tribe since I was a little girl. I used to dance during my tribe's annual pow-wow when they still allowed anyone attending to join in on the dancing ceremonies. But years ago, they made it so you have to register to dance while abiding by a strict dress code for your regalia (you didn't even need to wear regalia before!) I stopped going after they changed the rules but I still know all the moves and they do hold other smaller pow-wows at different parts of the year I participate in sometimes where I'm able to dance again. I don't get to dance as often but it's still an important part of my heritage and I still enjoy it very much.
