I Enjoy Meaningful Conversations

I saw a post about an interview with the star of lord of the rings 'Elijah wood'. There were somethings quoted which it seems he said during the interview, which had to do with abuse in the hollywood industry. I don't know how we look at these actors and actresses, but i please want to beg you guys who may really like certain singers, actors or actresses, to not expect so much from them. These people are people like us. The difference is, they are in a certain stage in their lives were they are seen in the spotlight by most people. But they are only doing their jobs like all of us. Even if we don't have the same jobs or opportunities like them, they are normal humans like us. They are not perfect. I believe there may even be some of them that may have moments were they feel alone as well. I saw somethings in the post that made me feel bad. Like if i'm correct, some hollywoodstars may have been abused by people in high positions and they are told to not say anything about it. What dah eff! What kind of stupid system is that? It made me feel for them when i saw some of the words in the post and when i also saw a particular celebrity who was seen in an award, that did plastic surgery. I wonder why she did it. Even if we all have choices, i feel part of the reason may have been to look nice infront of the public, maybe because we tend to care about how good they look. I want to say something. We cannot be exactly like these actors, actresses or stars you like so much. We shouldn't even try to be like anyone. We can admire the good attributes of the people we like, but we should never want to be them. We can learn to grow with those good qualities or attributes and simply be ourselves. We are all unique and talented. What is important is using are skills to do good things that help others to be better as well as helps us. They are humans like us, they are not superhuman. They can do things that may be extraordinary or cool, and when we see things like that we appreciate their efforts. That's what i feel we should do.Not expect them to be perfect for people. Feel free to express your views or what you think about the way you see your actors or actresses you like.

Well I never understood why people made such a fuss about celebrities. They all seem to fail in understanding that they are just regular people not semi-gods or whatever they assume they are. Just because their job happened to be in the public eye and that it earns a lot of money doesn't mean that they should get so much crap because of it. I seriously don't understand why people think that fame is such a huge deal in life-majority of those celebrities would only wish that they would live normally without all those annoying paparazzi sticking their noses into other people's business.

@Originalme I agree with what you said! And i'm glad you understand what i was trying to say in the post. It really got me thinking when i saw what was written in the post about Elijah woods interview. I didn't want to imagine it totally, because if some of these actors or actresses were abused by people in higher positions and told not to say anything, i wold really be sad about it. So even when someone is gifted in what he or she does, you would still be given conditions in terms of what you deserve because of some people in higher positions. That's totally unfair. And i can't imagine how it would feel for a talented person to experience that kind of rubbish. I really hope it's not like that. Maybe it's not as bad as i just said, i hope.

@Justpeaceandlove I learn some beautiful things from some movies. But, what I'm talking about concerns the life they live which is sometimes affected by the way we may expect them to be either perfect or so extraordinary. They're people like us. We shouldn't expect them to be so perfect. We can only do our best in the things we expected to do, as well as they can only do their best, and when they inspire or do things that are extraordinary, we can only appreciate what they've done. Not expect them to be perfect for people.

@Originalme, You agree based on, they should be looked at as normal as we look at our friends or what's your view exactly please? :)

They are actors and actresses just like us but they get paid to look like it's real. :) Maybe there's something we can learn from them.
