A few of my fascinating lessons:
1) Every field relates to every other field. Mathematics relates to physics, chemistry, literature, etc. Mathematics is the language of the universe.
2) Pretty much everything corresponds to the golden ratio. For example, flowers are in a Fibonacci pattern. What's more, your brain loves things that correspond to the golden ratio because it is easier to calculate and therefore triggers dopamine, making you feel calm and in control.
In contrast, people throw objects around and break things when they're angry because they don't have control over the situation. When they throw the objects, they have a false sense of control because they are controlling the objects, not their minds.
1.618 is just a powerful number; it makes everything beautiful, from music to architecture. A lot of people fail to realize why.
