I Don't Do Drugs

People I've known since I was really young have all turned to drugs. A very good friend of mine was recently kicked out of his house because of it. Another friend (a guy I've known since I was born) only calls or texts to ask for money, money he knows I won't give him. It annoys me, no, angers me to see great people destroyed by drugs and the like, people who I thought were above that are the people who take part in it. Maybe I hate it because I don't get it, but I don't want to get it. Why would you destroy yourself like that?

there could be multiple reasons like real world problems, things they go through, and just like shit what they can't deal with (also maybe because they want to but thats pretty much an obvious answer) and sometimes i ask that question to "Why/how would you destroy yourself like that?"...but it happens i guess. also I'd like to say i'm sorry you feel this way, i give you my best wishes

Upbringing can sometimes be an issue, if you grew up in violent home etc. There's a lot that leads up to it I guess, but it's still infuriating somewhat

When some first start,they believe that taking drugs is cool, and don't realoze how much of a monster drugs can become and how simple it is for everything to get out of hand.

Most people just seem to think they're immune to the bad side of drugs, and I'm sure some people see worse side effects than others
