I Write Poetry
In silence as you speak
In the speech of the lost words
I can read them through your eyes
I know what you want to say
Say no more
Without hearing you utter those words
I feel them I see them in your eyes
Only when slowly you smile at me
I notice when you are not happy
Let your actions speak to me
Let them explain what your mouth cannot speak
Let I sit here just to stare into your eyes
Revealing the words one by one
Let I drop some tears
If I travel deep into your sadness
I can see through your soul
So many different doors
Let me explore each door
Open them one by one
Some doors they feel so cold
Some burn my hand
Others feel so warm
But some doors I cannot open them
Why won’t you let me in?
Each door has a story
As I travel days inside its rooms
The more doors I open
The more I feel your wound
The more doors I reach to
The more I understand you
These wounds you hide inside
Are making these rooms behind the doors so dusty
Let I blow the dust away
And wipe them with my hand
I want to wipe every pain
You have inside of you
So When I stop looking
You’d have no more wounds
Let I travel deeper
And open each locked door
Give me your trust
I promise I won’t ever let you down
In you travel so many emotions
Sorrow, pain, happiness, betrayal, love, loss
And so many more
As I open a cold door
I see betrayal, people whom betrayed you
You still have memories of them
You have questions flowing here and there
Asking yourself why, when, how and where
But let I wipe these thoughts away
Never think of them no more
Because all those people who betrayed you
Never deserve you am sure
Because you are an angel
With a clean white heart
So let I forever lock this door
And wipe it from your memory
And each cold door I open
I wipe it away
Every time I do
You smile at me
I tell you life is short
Think it positively
Never mind all those people
Whom have betrayed, hated, ignored, or hurt you
Because back then you never had me, let me fight your battles
Let me hold your hand through it all, you aren’t alone no more…
