I Write Poetry

kisses for the one most fine
beautiful in stature
your heart being so divine
you make me so happy
I’m glad you are mine

your soft touch upon my face
makes my heart beat a fast pace
your lips upon my lips makes
sends quivers to my hips

makes for such a wonderful time
you and I eye to eye
breathless in anticipatory
excitement that being so close
to you will bring me...

so one day soon
we must make a plan
for me to board a plane
and fly I must to where you are
and into each other’s arms
we shall surely run
finding ourselves truly home
