I Write Poetry
Listen For The Whisper
I listen for the whisper
Of her name upon the wind
The scent of her is one
To which the flowers must pretend
The brilliance of the moonbeams
Is out shown by her sweet smile
The laughter in her lovely eyes
Will always be in style
The curve that marks her hips
Can make me lose my mind
My two arms ache to hold her
Yet I keep my hands confined
The swelling of her breasts
Puts a strain on our friendship
I long to feel their softness
And place my tongue upon the tips
I just know her skin's like velvet
She waits for my caress
I keep hoping that I'll see her smile
When my love I can confess
For now, I'm moving slowly
She's as skittish as a colt
She's been hurt and fear is present
Too much pressure and she'll bolt
So I pray each day for patience
Until push comes down to shove
For the prize that I am seeking
Is one day she'll share my love
I listen for the whisper
Of her name upon the breeze
My heart will find the answer
When her's finally hears my pleas
I listen for the whisper
Of her name upon the wind
The scent of her is one
To which the flowers must pretend
The brilliance of the moonbeams
Is out shown by her sweet smile
The laughter in her lovely eyes
Will always be in style
The curve that marks her hips
Can make me lose my mind
My two arms ache to hold her
Yet I keep my hands confined
The swelling of her breasts
Puts a strain on our friendship
I long to feel their softness
And place my tongue upon the tips
I just know her skin's like velvet
She waits for my caress
I keep hoping that I'll see her smile
When my love I can confess
For now, I'm moving slowly
She's as skittish as a colt
She's been hurt and fear is present
Too much pressure and she'll bolt
So I pray each day for patience
Until push comes down to shove
For the prize that I am seeking
Is one day she'll share my love
I listen for the whisper
Of her name upon the breeze
My heart will find the answer
When her's finally hears my pleas
