I Have Lost a Beloved Pet
Well I got this dog Niko when she was six months old.Gosh what a handle full I tell ya!lol! She knew what I was saying to her always.one night it's pretty late,I'd say midnight! By then I was so tired trying to get niko to come.I tried four about two hours or so ,after being at the park walking around and she would swim.well my ex wife came to the park and was so mad at me because I couldn't get her.It was my first time let niko off the leash! Anyways I finally got her!! Gosh I couldn't believe she let me approach her! It was the greatest thing ever I tell ya! I was so happy now heading back to the truck ,but my ex wouldn't stop hounding me cutting me down I don't have any control.I just wanted to go home and sleep.i was so tired! Anyways she wouldn't stop and I just took the leash off niko and told her Good luck and niko was free again.It took us forty more minutes to get Niko! Lmao!
When Niko turned three she got a new knee put in. Then at five years old the other knee needed replacing.She was worth every cent!
She was a good guard dog.she thought she had to be working always! When we go to the river we'd swim together.if I went to far,she come and pull me back in.
I would take her to the mountains and we'd have great adventure.one time we climbed up this slope and I slept a bit.i had the leash on niko and she held me there.It was no big deal, but wow!she was just awesome!
We went every where together!
Niko and my cat Sam were total buddies!Sam would torment Niko to get her going ,then take off!.Well niko goes and corners Sam and all she did was bark right in face! Sam will jump at her chest and slide off her and fall to the floor.Sams got claws but he doesn't use them on anything!He is so laid back.
I had to put Niko down two weeks ago.She was a mix.she was German Sheppard,Red Healer and Husky mix.She was mostly redish with a small bit of white and black.she looked like a Sheppard. She loved being outside when it's-20.Beleive me I'd try so many times.she came when she was ready! Gosh she smelled so fresh when she came in.I'll miss this.
