I Am Smart Enough to Know I Don't Know It All

A question was asked about what is the greatest lesson you have learned in life and this was my reply...
Adulting. Awakening to my lifes purpose. I have learned about life at a later age, maybe because I was sheltered for so long, but I learned how to be a free thinker instead of having be dictated to throughout my life.
I have a mind of my own and learned how to think for myself rather than letting anyone else tell me how I need to be, or how to live. I am free and I choose not to be bound by authority or not to be felt inferior to others. We are all human, we learn about life as we age.
Knowledge is power and I've learned how to find wisdom on my own, by doing my own research. I will not be sheltered anymore or live in a box of where I have no say!
I learned it the hard way, but life is all about living and learning from experience. That has been my greatest lesson. I'm a little ahead of my years but we can never stop learning. Not saying that I know it all, but I learn from my own experiences and from others. We can never stop learning, no matter what age we are. The lessons we learn only stops when our livelihood ends.
I still have a lot to learn even into my elder years. That's how we grow. So when I am 70 or 80 I can probably tell you what else I have learned from the age I am now, and I'm in my 40's.

When I found this category I thought this was fitting for my story here, so I just wanted to share.
