Why do you still keep messing with my head, mother? I’m nothing like you..
yet, sometimes when i notice my behavior becoming exactly like yours, it makes me stop in my tracks.. shaking me up..
i never want to be like you.. i won’t be like you.. no matter how much i have to try..
i am not an angry person whose anger flares when others don’t behave the way they want.. or is nice only when things go just the way they want..
i am not a controlling person who tries controlling how others should or shouldn’t behave..
i am not a person who loves only conditionally, only when others do how they want or in a certain way..
and i am not a follower, or making others follow the same things that i believe in..
i am me, don’t you see that? i don’t like any kind of boundaries, i don’t like to be defined either..
i refuse to react to anger and wanting to control others’ behavior..
one thing i have learnt in all these years is to let each person be the way they want.. freedom to be who they are, not to try and make them in what we think is right..
i won’t give up my freedom to be who i am and become like you, i won’t..
coz i am boundless..

Actually by focusing on being the opposite of her you are not boundless you are not yourself you are defined by her reflection, so the sad thing is one way or another you let her shape you instead of just being you no matter what degree you resemble her in.
