I am just gonna put responses to questions I am getting waaayyyy too often:
1.So, so like is ASL universal?
-No just like how there are different verbal languages there are different sign languages.

3. So like, does it affect your smartness I mean you can't be smart (real question)
- My IQ is 167 deafness does not affect intelligence.
4.How'd you catch it?
-Really? Same way you caught stupidity.
5.Sweet you can speak braille?
-Lmao, there is just no words.
6. Did it hurt?
-surprisingly this is not a dumb question, because of my condition yes as my hearing progressively decreased my ears hurt more.

-Yes, it's not perfect but it gets me by.

-Deaf and HOH people date hearing people all the time.

- since surgery for me would include them cutting into my brain... No I will not.
