I'm sorry,people are indeed hypocrites, they do not realize the damage they do or how poorly the repersent thier own religion.
Not sure where your trouble lies?
If you have a Salvation Army in your area they have a lot of services available.
All so your local Department of Human Services may be of assistance to you.
